After church last night we had a 70s dance party. How many churches do that kind of stuff??? It was a lot of fun. Some of the costumes were amazing and scary all at once. Keri and I didn’t get dressed up this time because, frankly, we didn’t have much time to find stuff. We tried Sunday afternoon but got nowhere. But we had fun nonetheless.
I went running today for the first time in forever. The reopened the reservoir near our house so we can go up and run on a sidewalk around it. I liked it up there. Not as nice as running/walking around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir in Boston (nor nearly as big) but it’s still nice. I’m tired of the seminary’s fitness facility and with the weather getting better… we’ll see if this lasts. Hope so. In related news I think it’s been a month since I had a soft drink. Don’t miss ’em much either.
The week ahead does not appear significant. I have soooo much reading and work to do. It’s past time for me to focus in on my papers and what I’m going to write on this semester. My schedule is so crazy I have floated the idea in my head about dropping one of my seminars. I don’t want to be haphazard in my approach to choosing seminars. Got to make them count and get the right ones.
Anyway, stay tuned…
