Sorry I haven’t posted for several days (though I’m sure there aren’t but a couple people who would even notice!). Life has been busy. It always is, unfortunately, but moreso lately. My mind has been preoccupied with other things (non-bloggable things) and, well, I just haven’t had the time.
On top of that, I’m really tired of politics. The election year just finally caused me to burn out when it comes to politics. For now – dont’ worry I’m sure I’ll have more to say about stuff at a later date (like, as a tease, being annoyed at McCain’s grandstanding over the steroids issue… I’m sure we’ll have 4 years to talk about his ambitions). Maybe my cynicism has boiled over a bit and left me wondering what the point of politics is – seems like a lot of time and effort and energy spent on a lot of hot air. There’s more image than substance. Very little ever seems to really happen. Maybe I’ll tune in again when the Supreme Court is in play.
Otherwise I have been and continue to grade exams. Though it’s a pain to do it, grading Ethics exams has reminded me how much I enjoy that particular subject. Now I have to grade Apologetics exams – I wonder how that will make me feel. Then I have to finish my last paper for the semester. Can’t wait until that’s done. Then I’ll figure out what I’m doing next semester (1 or 2 seminars) and will, if I’m wise and disciplined, try to get some early work done during January. Yes, it never stops. Dang it.
But I intend to continue blogging. But while things are slow here, stroll over to David Price’s place and see what’s going on.
