A couple of sites for your shopping (if you want to avoid the mall):
* Here’s an interesting site for you: Woot.com. They sell one electronics product per day, beginning at midnight (central time I think). It is a closeout/blowout type price that is often ridiculous I’m told. Everything from laptops to toy cars; but just one item per day. I thought it was interesting.
* Discerning Reader – a site to find good Christian books for the thoughtful reader. They edit out a lot of the chaff that you have to sift through at Christian bookstores. (Readers are welcome to shop for me if you want!)
* Caedmon’s Call has a new CD out entitled “Share the Well.” From the little I’ve heard of it (haven’t bought it yet but will before our next roadtrip), it is really interesting. They typically have the best lyrical content out there, in my opinion, and this album features musical influences from other parts of the world, most notably India. They teamed up with Compassion International (please go support Compassion if you don’t already! There’s no better time to start!) for a couple of trips that deeply influenced this album. Check it out.
