I recently converted. 
I had been thinking about it and considering it for a long time. Friends and family members encouraged me along the way, and I finally took the plunge. Now, maybe I ought not speak in terms of conversion because, after all, I’m only talking about computers. But, it is a whole new world indeed. A cool world.
Having been interested for a long time, I wandered into Comp USA the other night to look at Macs (having heard from a friend that there were updated models out, leaving the older ones on sale). Sure enough, I was fortunate enough to find an “open box” Mac (meaning previously purchased and returned) that was in perfect condition, had everything I wanted, and had the right price. It’s an iBook G4 with 14 inch screen and a superdrive. So we did it. And we like it.
