In a series of events that will surely spark a DreamWorks animated film, or at least a clever BBC short film, a Montana cow fled a slaughterhouse and led police, animal control officers, and slaughterhouse workers on a mad chase for six hours. You just have to read the story. The cow managed to jump a fence, dodge traffic on multiple occassions, and even swim the icy Missouri River. Three tranquilizer darts could not bring her down.
When asked for a comment after the grueling chase, the cow replied, “Eat mor chikin.”
