Yes, as I mentioned before, change is coming. A few people were wondering what that means. After a lot of thought, talk, and prayer, we have decided that our time in Louisville is drawing to a close. We’ve been here more than six years. This semester marks the end of the coursework phase of my PhD and I have gained approval to continue my studies from afar. Where are we going? Well, that’s not some kind of weird Masonic symbol above, it’s the flag of the great state of South Carolina.
More specifically, we’re considering heading to Greenville after our house sells. Since putting the sign out over the weekend we’ve had a lot of interest so we hope it will sell quickly (and you can pray about that if you want!)
For those of you who don’t know us as well, Greenville is my wife’s hometown and home to Furman University, where we both went to college. It’s a cool town located roughly halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte in the Appalachian foothills and is booming these days. Anyway, there are many details still to be worked out, but we will post updates as things happen.
